I promised myself this year not to get sucked in again to the fortunes, or misfortunes, of Andy Murray at Wimbledon. But here I am again, on Men’s Semi Finals Day really rooting for the guy. But hey….
It’s been a year of unabashed jingoism and the Olympics have not yet even started. The Samuel Johnson quote that ”Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel” comes most readily to mind at times like this,
